With over 400 published works, Dr. Johnnie Vinson is an internationally recognized arranger/composer of music for band.  His publisher is the Hal Leonard Corporation, the world leader in the music print industry.

For thirty-six years, Dr. Vinson was a faculty member serving on the band staff at Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama.  He retired as Emeritus Director of Bands and Professor of Music in 2007.  Since his retirement from Auburn, he has devoted much of his time to writing music for band.  This website will allow you explore his music.  Welcome!
